Idaho Trip

Alright we are finally home and I finally have time to post! We had a great time in Idaho seeing all our family! We flew to Couer d'Alene on Saturday and visited with my Grandparents and all my aunts and uncles and cousins that I haven't seen in years. Then on Sunday we went to church and then went to a park right on the shore of Lake Couer d'Alene that was so green and pretty. This is my Grandpa Rebal and Bryn at the park.
Later that afternoon we walked out on the dock and took some more pics. It was gorgeous. The next picture is in my grandparents backyard which is so green and pretty. Here is Bryn with her Great Grandma and Grandpa. It was so fun seeing them together. This is us in the backyard too. I like the trees and flowers that my grandparents work so hard to keep pretty. I don't have the desire or the climate to do that so it was nice to see their efforts paid off.
On Wednesday we went down to Boise and met our new niece Tenley and visited with Rachelle and Heather and her kids. This is a picture of all 4 of them at the Boise zoo in an egg. It was funny trying to get them all in there. They sure are 4 cute girlies! From the left is Tenley being held by Sydney, then Mallory and finally Brynlyn.
And we had a great time bumming around Boise too. We ate at the Cheesecake Factory and got to see Rachelle's house and just relax a little. Vacations are always nice but I love coming home and sleeping in my own bed too. Justin caught a cold in Idaho and gave it to me and Bryn. It is not fun and Bryn can barely breathe through her nose at all. On Monday we spent the day with Justin's family swimming and having a picnic. The pool was so warm and we played volleyball and my team lost but it was a blast. I even have a small tan line from my swimsuit now! Well I better go! See ya!

Another week

This week has been busy with work and getting ready to go to Idaho this weekend! We are so excited for our first vacation in almost a year. And Bryn gets to meet her Great-Grandma and Grandpa Rebal and great-aunts and uncles and second cousins. It should be fun. And then we get to meet Rachelle and Scott's new little Tenley too. I am also super excited for the cooler weather and the scenery that isn't desert. This last week was fun. Bryn has learned how to blow raspberries that seriously spray spit all over and does it all the time now! Especially when she is eating and she thinks it is hilarious. I took some pics of what she did to herself with her bananas on Sunday. She is so crazy. Notice that she wiped them all over her face, legs and arms as well as me, but I didn't take a picture of that. She was sure having a blast but it took awhile to clean up the destruction.
See how pleased she is with herself? She knows she doesn't have to clean it up.
And on Monday night we went swimming for FHE and it was so fun. Bryn is such a good splasher and she just goes to town flailing her arms and legs in that water. Anyways I probably won't post again until after we get back from vacation and I get all my pics uploaded and everything. See ya!

Sitting Up

Hi everyone! Well we haven't done much else this weekend, we just have been watching the Olympics a lot and that is fun. We keep staying up too late to finish watching and so I have been so tired these last few days. Well here are a few more pictures. This is Bryn and Bella checking each other out. Bryn just loves Bella and thinks that her tail is a teething ring so I have had to rescue Bella from Bryn's clutches a few times now. It's cute though.
And this other picture is from yesterday and it is Brynlyn just sitting up all by herself. She hardly needs any help at all anymore and she loves to sit on her own. She is getting so independent!
Well I didn't have much to say, but I wanted to post quickly anyways. Last night it was fun to watch Michael Phelps win his 3rd gold this games and see the men's gymnastics team get the bronze out of nowhere. I have never watched the Olympics this much before. It's pretty cool.

Quick Post

Ok, so here is a quick update. On Wednesday it was our 3rd wedding anniversary! Cool huh. It was fun. Grandma Pollard babysat while Justin and I went to eat at Red Lobster. It was good but I don't want seafood for a while. I got him a new wallet and believe me he needed it! His old one is the one he bought at 16 and is falling apart and ruins all his credit cards. So now he finally has a new one. And he got me Next and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the new one) on HDDVD. So that is pretty exciting. Then the other news I have is that I finished Breaking Dawn on Wednesday and I LOVED it. I thought she did a really good job with the characters and closing the story. I also like Bella much better in this book, she wasn't as annoying to me. Last night I read some message boards about it and they were awful. A lot of people were commenting on how she was pushing Mormonism in this book. I was getting so mad at the ignorant comments I wanted to cry. I love some of the messages that she put in the book that are LDS beliefs but are also taught by many other faiths. Some of these messages were abstinence before marriage, the importance of family, the importance of self-control, and the unselfish nature of true love. I absolutely was so glad that she ended it the way she did. And on another important note I am so grateful that I am a member of the LDS church. I love the Gospel and the strength and happiness it brings to my life. I am sad for people that preach tolerance while denigrating and mocking the faith of others and furthermore accusing them of intolerance simply because we do not agree with their choices. What a light the Gospel is in a darkening world!! Those who truly seek will find. Anyways I love you all!

5 months already!!

Well I am sure feeling like time flies sooo fast. I cannot believe that I have a 5 month old! Well anyways I always take a ton of pictures every time she gets a month older. Here are her 5 month pics:
Isn't this the cutest dress? I found it at Ross today.
And this is Bryn early this morning. We had fun and she didn't even get mad at me. Now she just tries to grab the camera. Well anyways we had an interesting day. We went to Ross and Target and then when we got back to the car to go home my remote wouldn't work. Now, I could have used my key but then the alarm would have gone off and I had no idea how to stop it. So I ended up hiking back to Target to buy a new battery in the hopes that that was the problem. And let me assure you that I parked extremely far away from Target and walked because loading the baby back in the car is not fun just to drive across the parking lot from Ross to Target. So I go buy a battery, put it in and go back to the car. By this time Brynlyn is an hour past when she should have gone down for her nap and very tired. The remote still didn't work so I, in desperation, banged it against the stroller and lo and behold it worked. I was so relieved. I still have no idea what the problem is/was and I am afraid that it will happen again. Anyways after we got home and Bryn ate she slept for 2 and a half hours which is very long for her. Oh and I forgot to mention that I had forgotten to eat lunch or bring a water bottle with me so I got home beat. So that was my day. Crazy huh.
