The ink mess

ok, so this is what the inside of my dryer looks like now. On Tuesday night as I was crawling into bed at midnight, Justin comes and gets me. He takes me into the laundry room where he shows me the clothes he had been washing. Apparently even though he checked all his pockets a pen still snuck in and got everywhere!! All of his work shirts were in there and a lot of his favorite clothes as well, so we spent the next hour on the Internet and trying desperately to remove the ink from his work shirts so that he could at least go to work that morning. We discovered that both rubbing alcohol and nail polish remover work on ink, but the nail polish remover can discolor the clothing so be careful. It was not a great night, and we both got about 5 hours of sleep! Crazy huh. Never wash a pen with your clothes, the majority of his clothes that got washed are ruined, even straight bleach will only take out some of the ink. How lame huh. Anyways I just thought I would share our ink adventure with everyone!

Remembering my Dad

Ok, so I know that I already posted today but I wanted to post this picture of me and my dad, Boyd Jones Hansen. It was 16 years ago today that he passed away but I still love and miss him! I am so glad that I will be able to see him again and that we are sealed. What peace the Gospel brings!!
This is another picture of Bryn. I know that I haven't posted anything else since she was born but she is way cuter than me, so she goes on the blog. This is a picture I took today because she is outgrowing all her cute clothes. Enjoy!

My big baby!

Ok so here is a picture I took a few days ago. Look at those huge cheeks! We had a doctors appointment yesterday and she weighs 13 pounds and is 23 1/2 inches long. The doctor said she is in the 85th percentile for her height and the 92nd for her weight. That makes her a BIG 2 month old. She definitely got her Daddy's height!! She is really healthy though and everything went well! I just thought I would post the quick update. See ya!

Quick Update

Well it's been awhile, but we are doing great! Brynlyn's blessing was awesome and thank you to everyone who came - it was so fun! Here are a few pics of Brynlyn, one I caught of her smiling a few weeks ago and the other one is her playing with her dad. She is so fun and she loves to make sounds and 'talk' to us now. She is such a great baby and I am so glad she is ours! Other than that we are keeping busy and happy and not much else happens! We love you all!

Anyways, so I said I would post directions to our church on here as it got closer to this Sunday, however after thinking that over I decided that it probably wasn't a good idea because my blog is still public. I will be making it private pretty quickly here. So if you need directions to the church please email me. Also a quick note, the church on Bella Vista with the huge baseball field behind it is not our church, that is our stake center, so don't go there! Anyways I hope that everyone finds it ok.
