Hi all!! Ok, so here is the latest about the baby. I am 13 and 1/2 weeks and we had our second doctors appointment today. Justin went with me and we were able to hear the baby's heart beat!! It was so fun. The nurse put the gel on my stomach and as soon as she touched the device to my stomach we could hear the baby. She said that it was really easy and that sometimes it takes a few minutes to find, but not our baby. It was fun. The heart rate was about 160bpm so that is pretty fast. The whole appointment probably took 10 minutes but I was just glad to hear that sound. Other than that my morning sickness has started to go away. Some days are better than others but I am just glad I am not as miserable as I was not too long ago. And my car is super ugly right now. Something went wrong with the paint and so we have to redo it but in the mean time I have to drive around a really ugly car. It is really funny the way some people look at you. So here are a few pictures. See ya!

Update
Hey everyone! I haven't been posting much lately but I have the excuse of being pregnant and sick and tired all the time so hey. Right now I am sitting at work and I am pretty bored so here I am updating everyone. The most exciting thing that I have done lately is find a new author that I love. Jamie Webb told me about her so I bought all 3 books and read them all in 2 days. They are addicting. The books are by Stephenie Meyer who is LDS and lives here is the Valley. The first book is Twilight, the second is New Moon and the third is Eclipse. The 4th book comes out in a year and I am already counting down. They are super awesome love stories and really fun to read. The author has a website at www.stepheniemeyer.com. Check it out if you think it sounds cool. I love them!! Ok, so then school started on Monday and my last 2 classes shouldn't be too bad. I have a religion class (really interesting actually to study religion from an academic viewpoint and see how misguided the world really is) and a research class for psych. It should be pretty easy and I am so excited to be done and graduate! Well Justin has been working on repainting my car these last 2 weeks and so I will post pics soon of my made-over car. It is going to be this cool blue color now instead of hot and ugly black. Well I don't have any more news for now so see ya!

Our Trip to Sedona
So last weekend we had a fun getaway weekend in the Sedona area. It was so nice to just get away for a few days and relax and do whatever we wanted. We went and visited Montezuma's Castle and Tuzigoot (fun but not all that exciting really). We also went to Jerome and that was fun but I would never live up there. The houses are built right out of the mountain and most hang out over cliffs. It was pretty freaky. We ate at this restaurant there called the Haunted Hamburger and it was really good. After that we rode the Verde Canyon Railroad and it was beautiful. We got to go on a starlit tour where the last hour is at night and you get to watch the stars come out and see how beautiful the night sky is. That was Friday. On Saturday we went to Sedona and drove up Oak Creek Canyon and shopped a little. All the stores have weird touristy things (if you don't believe me we saw some things called fairy divas which were gothic fairy figurines - weird) and so we got tired after about an hour of that and just went to our hotel and slept and lounged the rest of the day. It was a good vacation. But then on Monday it was hard to go back to work! So anyways that was our fun trip and now we are back and it is kind of nice because I get my afternoon nap now. I know, I know I am a wuss (but it really isn't my fault). This week is my stepsister Leah's wedding and so that should be fun.
P.S. I just watched the BBC version of Jane Eyre and it is awesome. If you like British period romances this one is great.

THE COOLEST, MOST AWESOME NEWS!!

Hi everyone! So here is our big news! I am pregnant! The baby is 9 and a half weeks and I am due on March 4th of 2008. I have had some ups and downs with this pregnancy. I had to go to the ER two and a half weeks ago because of some sever pain in my lower right stomach and they ordered an ultrasound. The pain just kind of went away but the ultrasound showed that everything was ok with the baby, but they never let me see any of the images from the ultrasound. Today I had a doctor's appointment and my doctor has ultrasound capabilities right in each room so I got to see the baby and watch the little heart beat!! It was so exciting and I got to see the little movements. The doctor gave me a picture to take home so here is our baby at 9 weeks and 3 days! You can't see very much, but the important thing is that we are both healthy and everything is developing well. I have been a little sick (yesterday I threw up for the first time - not fun at all) but other than that we are both good. And Justin is super excited too. He went into the bedroom next to ours last week and he said I think I know how I want to paint this room for the baby. He had planned it all out in his head and it was just so cute to see him house decorating for the new baby. He will kill me if he ever finds out that I put that in here, but he has never read my blog so I am not too worried. Hopefully everything keeps going smoothly!
